About Y:EARN Instructional Leadership
Y:EARN Instructional Leadership was founded to close a critical gap in adult education: instructional leaders responsible for developing, supporting, and coaching teachers are themselves under-supported and under-prepared for the role. Grounded in over 20 years of experience in adult education and doctoral research on instructional leadership, we recognize that when instructional leaders are equipped with the right frameworks and support, transformative change ripples throughout entire programs.
Our mission is to equip instructional leaders with research-informed frameworks, tools, and coaching to strengthen how they lead — so that teachers are better supported, students receive stronger learning opportunities, and communities benefit from expanded pathways to economic mobility. The Y:EARN framework — Equip, Anchor, Reframe, Navigate — reflects our core approach to developing leaders who can drive meaningful change in their organizations and communities.
